Free (or low-cost) events at Lawrence University are open to the public. These events include Convocations, lectures by faculty or guest speakers, classical and jazz music concerts and recitals by students, faculty, or guest artists, theatre plays and musicals, etc. Check the Lawrence University calendar for updated events.
The landscape in and around Appleton is very beautiful, and what better way to see it than from a Hot Air Balloon? "Bums in Paradise" is a wonderful Hot Air Balloon company located in the Appleton area.
Reservations should be made well in advance, and be prepared to have your date cancelled and re-scheduled due to weather condidtions.

This store and small museum is located just north of Little Chute on highway N. Just east of Appleton on the north side. Plenty of cheese to choose from and other goofy Wisconsin souvineers. There is a little museum and a place to watch cheese being made.
