Favorite thing: The Copper Culture Mounds State Historic Site is a 48 acre archeological and historical site containing a burial mound from the Copper Age some 5000 to 6000 years ago. It is located near the town of Oconto in eastern Wisconsin. Also on site is the Charles Werrenbroeck Museum which is located in a 1924 farmhouse. This is a nice site and these types of sites fascinate me. The park is open on Saturday and Sunday from Memorial Day through Labor Day, from 11 AM to 3 PM or by appointment. Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated.

Fondest memory: Thinking about the people here 5000 years ago as I walked around the site.
