Snowmobile rentals are available through several businesses - we went with Trackside and rented a two-person snowmobile for $145 US dollars for the day....

My husband and I went to Nero's a couple of weeks ago and had the best time! Sometimes, it can be hard to find truly excellent service in the Northwoods. It is there at Nero's. Our waitress was outstanding! Moreso, the owners are terrific people. It was our first time dining at Nero's and we felt as though we were old friends. The owner Patty...

    1.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

When snowmobiling it is important to remember that the same rules apply as driving an automobile - don't drink and drive! There have been many accidents and deaths that have been attributed to high speeds and intoxicated drivers. Be smart! This is a really fun way to get around the area.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Weather is unpredictable, even in summer. Be prepared for cool weather, rain and heat in summer.

This winter was mild, but winter can be harsh with temperatures below zero at times. Boots, gloves, and winter jackets are a must from November - March.
