Rather large restaurant in the middle of Egg Harbor. Brewpub, restaurant and they have places to stay too.
I had a wrap and french fries and a Cherry lager. Good.

Visit the Village Cafe for breakfast. The food is absolutely fabulous with breakfasts ranging from yoghurt with fresh fruit and granola to eggs benedict--but don't miss their famous fried potatoes. You can purchase their special potatoe spices at the restaurant to make them at home Also, Casey's Inn is always a sure thing for great midwest steaks, chops & chicken (no trendy gourmet food here). You can watch sunset from Casey's too.
Favorite Dish: The Village Cafe has a homemade coffeecake and special pancakes every morning. The cherry pancakes are especially wonderful--made with Door County cherries.

The Birch Creek Concerts are a great site of entertainment in the summer months. This is a residential music camp of very talented high school and college music students. Almost every night the orchestra performs in an old barn. The enthusiasm abounds! A great way to enjoy a night of music at a reasonable cost.

Favorite thing: Stop at the Coffee & Tea Company in Carlsville. Great specialty coffee, wonderful home made bagels, cakes and desserts, nice friendly people.
Fondest memory: Pumpkinfest in the fall, Christmas in July, Skies so clear at night that you can see hundreds of satelites as they cross from one horizon to the other, Shooting stars and one of the most brilliant displays of the Aurora borealis I've ever seen.

You can purchase their special potatoe spices at the restaurant to make them at home. Be sure to take note of the artwork and decorations, many of which are for sale. Also, visit the Market (grocery store) for wonderful deli treats. It's a great place to pick up food if you plan to 'eat in' your condo.
Fondest memory: The Fall Pumpkin Patch festival is great!! However, the crowds can be overwhelming. We always stay an extra day or so to see the village decorations without the crowds. Spring, summer & fall display the lovely flowers along the roadway. Don't miss it!
