I especially like the gardens in winter when the Festival of Lights is going on. It might be one of the prettiest sights ever. Of course there are flowers in spring, summer and fall in their 47 acres. And at $5 ($2 for children) its a nice day out. It is located near North West Technical College.

700 acre wildlife refuge which includes many trails, a nature center and a zoo-like area. Free admission. Open year round. Make sure to bring a 50 cents and feed the geese while you are there. Also right by the amusement park, mini-golf and go-carts.

I don't think even most people in Green bay know this exists. It's a beautiful area just south of Green Bay. There is a sign pointing to a house and farm, but there really is a park and waterfall back there. The best time to go is spring, otherwise there may be no water on the falls. The falls is near the front of the property, but if you follow the fence back, there is a really cool hole in the ground also. Too bad my pictures of it are on my camera, this one photo I found online :(

Green Bay has a large Amtgard park. For those of you who don't know what Amtgard is, it is a medieval reenactment club that focuses more on the fighting aspect, and add in fantasy. We go around beating each other with foam weapons essentially. If you are ever looking for anything interesting to do on a Saturday afternoon in Green Bay, check it out.

The rides in this amusement park are perfect for very young children up to teenagers. Rides are very inexpensive. It rarely costs more than $.50 for a ride. The kiddie rides are as little as a quarter.
Go in the evening around six. They are open until nine and the lines are typically shorter in the evening.

This is a small amusement park reminiscent of olden days. There is free entrance and all rides are under $0.50. Most of the rides are for younger kids, but there is still a scrambler and tilt-a-whirl and a few other adult rides.

Minneapolis is only a few hours away, but Brett Favre and company don't exactly get hospitable treatment when they come to the Metrodome! Here's a photo of Randy Moss getting ready to torch two Packer defenders. It takes more than two to stop him!

Just off of Highway 57 about 5 miles north of Green Bay, Wequiock Falls County Park provides a no-charge place to have a picnic. Water coming over the falls is actually seasonal.

Not far beyond the stone steps, along a placid stream you may find new friends. Wequiock Falls is a small little corner of the world.
