Astrobomb Says: Be sure to check out the rustic roads. Signs are everywhere. Just tooling around on the back roads with the windows down on a nice afternoon can be fun. But get a map and watch out for deer!
Pretty views, but not worth the visit
DonnaBella Says: Minocqua is a dumpy place. Skip it. The Minocquabats (water ski show) was totally lame. Not worth watching, or wasting your valuable time.Unless you fish, and are into the cabin, "I love the woods" -type of thing, skip it. If you must visit Wisconsin, go to Lake Geneva...

Astrobomb Says: Go to the Min-Aqua-Bats water ski show, and eat at Paul Bunyan's, then pet the animals at Wildwood animal Park. There are TONS of lakes to swim at in the summer, and plenty of authorized and unauthorized trails to mountian bike on- these are things that I miss.
