    Donald McGregor, Aged 29 years; Sarah McGregor Aged 26 years; Janet McGregor, Aged 15 years.

    Many entire families such as the McGregors were wiped out by the fire.

    Disasters are fascinating, and cemetaries are fascinating. Therefore, visiting cemetaries associated with disasters are doubly fascinating.

    Many of the victims of the Peshtigo Fire were burned beyond recognition. It is estimated that temperatures in the heart of the fire reached 1100 degrees Fahreneit. The remains of some 350 people were interred in this small and simple site.
