Once a year, UW-Stevens Point plays host to the Worlds Largest Trivia Contest- a 54 hour long contest, with hundreds of teams competing. Questions are broadcast over the campus radio station, and every team to correctly answer is given the points for that question. GREAT time!

The square made it into the Guniness Book of World Records in 1998 for having the most bars in one square block. There were 26! The Elbow Room was a hoppong place known for its layed back ways and hippie crowd. The motto for the bar is "No Fancy Drinks, Just Fancy Bartenders"

There's a nice new Amish store outside of stevens point. My brothers wife showed us this little out of the way place. They don't have many pieces to look at but they have a catalog and the prices are CHEAP. I heard they may open a store in Point soon. I think their website is millcreekamish.com
