Ah... what to say about the casinos in Wisconsin... well, Ho-Chunk is a chain of gambling centers throughout Wisconsin run by the people of the Ho-Chunk Nation. I think they have around 5 other casinos as well as this location.
Ho-Chunk Casino is actually pretty fun. They have high stakes bingo, slots, and blackjack. I've known quite a few people who have won a lot of money here, but I have never been that fortunate. Besides the casino, they also offer entertainment, although most of the acts are pretty non-mainstream (is that a nice way of saying it?) The acts range from music to comedy acts and once in a while they get a pretty good musician. The complex also houses a hotel and restaurants.
If this review is sounding negative, it's not meant that way. I always have fun when I go with a group of people and it's a nice alternative to just going to a bar or club, plus you might win money!

Since the Dells were first known as a tourist spot, "locals" have found sport in watching the tourists strolling along The Broadway (the main drag in Wisconsin Dells) throughout the summer season.
And tourists have likewise been wondering for just as long what must be going through the minds of these "locals."
All in all, Downtown Dells is the best kind of spot around to watch the world go by during the heighth of season. And the nighttime is perhaps the best time of all, especially on the likes of Friday and Saturday nights.
