Hello, first of all. If you want to contact Wisconsin Dells Roo! Email them at firstname.lastname@example.org or add them on facebook:
Now moving on from that, the service was fantastic. I would never take a bus, train or other taxi with this option! They charge $110 flat with 1 person or 6, doesn't matter! This was in the off season, not sure if it changes during high season, but I would pay $200 for this service. They took us around the city and showed us the best of the Dells at no extra charge, all we had to do was ask them what was good... We love this service and will certainly use it again. There was 4 of us very cheap. What a great deal! Look forward to our next trip so we can use them!!!!!!!!!!
We called Wisconsin Dells Roo! It is a great taxi/transportation company. They took such great care of us and really paid attention to details. They took us everywhere we needed to go around Wisconsin Dells, and they really have the best service in Wisconsin Dells and they had the lowest rates of all the taxis we called in Wisconsin Dells! They do a nice job, you feel like you are paying for a limo ride by the quality of service. The driver was even wearing a suit coat, and nice jeans. It's classy and refreshing. Surely breaks the stereotype of a taxi driver, for sure. What other taxi is opening doors for you, and offered great advice when asked. Unbeatable if you ask me. The number is 608.792.9214 and the email is email@example.com
They are also on facebook: Wisconsin Dells Roo! HIGHLY RECOMMEND, they always have promo codes over on facebook also!
They have great airport rates, also!
Just so you know, cabs there can be pretty costly.
All three cab companies there (viz., Wisconsin Dells Taxi, Dells Cab and Sureway Taxi Service) have established as their fare $2/person on boarding the cab and $2/mile (calculated per the odometer absent decent meters); a $10/trip minimum applies with Wisconsin Dells Taxi (as also imposes a $1 surcharge on baseline fares between 12 midnight and 4 am; i.e., $3/passenger and $3/mile) and a $5 minimum with Sureway Taxi.
And have patience in calling a cab, as cellphone dispatching prevails there.
What's more, avoid calling between about 3 am and 7:30 am unless you want to get an ansafone; all three cab companies don't have owl-shift dispatchers.
A great way I have found to get around Wisconsin Dells is Intercontinental Express Shuttle. It is a shuttle service that transports people from O'hare airport in Chicago, Milwaukee, or Madison's airport for cheaper and faster than any bus or taxi!!! I was very impressed. They pick you up at the door, take you exactly where you want to go in Wisconsin Dells and provide great after service anywhere you need to go and will show you around the Dells also. They also provide restaurant tips, and ask questions to figure out what you want to do!!! I have never had a better experience in the Dells. They are very professional, reliable, and fun. This really made our trip so much better. They load your luggage and you don't have to worry about a taxi or renting a car. It is all included. It is only $50.00 per person from Chicago and that includes complimentary beverage and stops. I strongly recommend this company.
Not having a car, I'd probably find the train to be the best way to get to Wisconsin Dells.
Amtrak's "Empire Builder" provides the service to Wisconsin Dells, with daily service to/from Chicago, the Twin Cities, Spokane, Portland and Seattle.
Wisconsin Dells Kangaroo Taxi was the best deal in town. We rode with a few cab companies, MISTAKE! This is the one. Call these guys and get it right the first time. Enjoy.
The boat rides up and down the river are marvoleous. The scenery is beautiful and all the guides are well informed and entertaining.
