Jennings & co. is a new brew pub and eatery in the historic downtown. Located at 1st. and Jackson st. With a view of the wisconsin river, this is a place were you can enjoy. In the future we will be brewing our own micro brews and offering food service. Upstairs will be open soon for pool, darts and private parties. Unless you want to go to one of many trashy bars where the locals hang out, there isn't much to do. Sometimes a theatre company comes to town and does a play at the high school.
Dress Code: Flannels and wife-beaters required.

Driving to Rapids means running a gauntlet of suicidal white-tail deer. Every year thousands of deer end their pathetic lives by jumping out in front of cars. I even almost hit a deer in town once. Hitting a deer will ruin your car and cost you lots of money.

Favorite thing: People are friendly, and we have a Great diversity of outdoor life. The river makes this area
a nice place to relax, walk areas are clean, well kept. there are trails posted. Parks, picnic areas. just a nice place to visit any time of the year

Wisconsin Rapids is where I grew up. It is a paper mill town with 20,000 people and is not remarkable in any way. There is no reason for anyone to visit this town unless, like me, your family lives......
