glasscat Says: Unless you want to go to one of many trashy bars where the locals hang out, there isn't much to do. Sometimes a theatre company comes to town and does a play at the high school. Flannels and wife-beaters required.
glasscat Says: Driving to Rapids means running a gauntlet of suicidal white-tail deer. Every year thousands of deer end their pathetic lives by jumping out in front of cars. I even almost hit a deer in town once. Hitting a deer will ruin your car and cost you lots of money.
glasscat Says: Don't go fishing below the dam on the Wisconsin River. They can open the gates on the dam any time, and you will die. Also, don't eat any fish from the river.
