Although most people arrive by car, we also have a small airport, the Yellowstone Regional Airport. Large jets do not fly into this airport, but you can pick up connecting flights from the Denver or Salt Lake airports. If you are flying in and staying at one of the Guest Ranches, many of them will pick you up at the airport upon your arrival. Flight schedules are available on the airport's Web site or from Delta (Sky West) or United (United Express) airlines. This is a small town and if you are able to walk comfortably, you will find that you can easily walk from one end to the other, however to enjoy the beautiful mountain valleys, you will need a car. If staying at a Dude Ranch check to see if they supply transportation into town for visiting such things as the Buffalo Bill Historical Center.

We stayed at the "Irma" Buffalo Bills Hotel. Col. William F. Cody aka Buffalo Bill. Built this hotel in 1902 for his daughter Irma, costs at that time around $80,000.00.
