The Granary: A butte of a Dinner!
  • Satisfaction:
  • This restaurant is a treat! Perched on a butte overlooking the Jackson area, this restaurant is perfectly situated for a breathtaking view. The experience doesn't end with the view however. The wait staff was extremely attentive and the food was fabulous.

While our corporate group pretty much owned the place the day we were there, the wait staff indicated that Jay Leno was tucked away in the restaurant somewhere that evening!

My wife and I had the Trout Meuniere. It was one of the most incredible fish entrees that I have ever had. I don't typically order fish when I'm out for a fine dinner, but this dish cannot be passed up!

P.S. Save room for the lava cake!

Million Dollar Steak House: Take your wallet
  • Satisfaction:
  • The ambiance was nothing special. Sat at the bar to eat dinner because the wait was 2 hours for the dining area. The fillets were over $30.00, which was ridiculous. The food wasn't any better than any other steak house. 2 dinners and a couple of drinks were over $100.00. Not worth it.

    Bubba's Barbeque: Don't Miss
  • Satisfaction:
  • Bubba's Barbeque was the best meal we had in Jackson. Unfortunately we ate there our last night. Both of our meals were excellent. The beef brisket and turkey dinners were out of this world. It is very reaonably priced. Service was great. There was a slight wait at dinner time, but it was worth it! It was so good, we had breakfast there the next morning before leaving.

Beef Brisket and Turkey dinners were great. You get 2 sides with it, and it was quality, home cooked food.

After visiting the Jackson Hole & Greater Yellowstone Visitors centre, I crossed the street in order to eat something.

So I entered the Route 89 Restaurant.

The place was big and you could even sit outside to eat.

Service was young, friendly and quick.

There is a whole list of Burgers.

I did choose : The Elvis - The King of Burgers

    Wow that was a lot . . .

    Elvis has left the building.

Jedediah's House of Sourdough: Don't Miss the Sausage!
  • Satisfaction:
  • An excellent place for a big breakfast – my husband had sourdough pancakes (with a wonderful tang) and I had eggs, sausage, homefries and biscuits with gravy. The sausage was particularly good – a thin and crisp yet juicy patty that tasted homemade. Service was just a little slow, but the décor and history of the place occupied us while we waited. I have to mention the restroom, with a big old kitchen sink taking the place of the usual washing facilities. We really enjoyed the place.

    Sausage - delicious!

Snake River Brewing Company: A give-it-a-miss brewery
  • Satisfaction:
  • The food was only so-so, as well as the beer, but the service was very attentive. My husband had ribs that were coated in a sweet, ketchup-y sauce and I had a chile verde burrito that wasn’t bad. Hubby had the brewhouse’s stout (which he found only so-so) and I had their lager (which has a bit of a soapy aftertaste). The ambiance is nothing particularly special.

    Calico: Favorite splurge
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • I have never had a bad experience here. The waitstaff is friendly and gracious. The menu changes constantly. The wine list is wonderful. Go there but be prepared to wait. We sit out on the front porch and play cards or I knit while my son runs around the grounds playing with other kids.

I'm not a meat eater-so anything to do with fish. I have had everything from marlin to wild salmon. Yummy.

Dornan's is a local favorite after a great day enjoying activities in the Park. There is a rooftop deck with a view of the Tetons that is unbeatable! You can get local beer, good pizzas/pasta/salads, or go next door and buy a bottle of wine to enjoy. Overall great atmosphere, even in the winter inside. Every once in a while they do wine tasting nights as well and have live music.

The Static Peak pizza. Just my kind of food. Pizza with chicken, bbq sauce, red onions. The Moose bread is good too.

Sweetwater: The BEST lunch in town
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • Sweetwater is an old country house turned into the best restaurant in Jackson. Every time I visit Jackson, My FIRST stop is Sweetwater. I even dream about this place, no lie. I know it's time to plan a weekend visit when I dream about eating outside under the sun.
It is more expensive at dinner, but it's such a great lunch spot!

The Blue One, SOO good. Grilled Chicken sandwitch with pesto and blue cheese. mmmm

Wild Sage Restaurant in Jackson Hole: Don't Miss Out on this Great Restaurant
  • Satisfaction:
  • Environment: Warm, welcoming, lavish, private, personal

Wine: Forgive me for I can not do wine any justice of description but it was simply perfect. Order anything because it is all amazing.

Entrée: This was by far the best complete dinner in Jackson. The food was of superior quality, an exquisite blend of classic and nouveau American.

I recommend to simply relax and enjoy every ounce of pleasure the Wild Sage is willing to dote on you and don’t ask, just say “yes, please!” You will savor the food and the moment.
