Sinclair is a small town of about 400 (unchanged since 2000) located along Interstate 80/US Highway 30 in Carbon County in South Central Wyoming. The town was established in 1925 as a company town for the Petroleum and Refiners Oil Company. The town was then called Parco (for the company). The company was later bought out by Harry Sinclair and the name was changed to Sinclair in 1942. In 1967 Sinclair sold most of the town to the local residents.
