If you organize your trip...

If you organize your trip right to Wyoming this is the only tourist trap that you will run into, mountains, prairie, and a sublime peacefulness. This is a picture taken of me in a cirque above our ranch. The mountain in front of me is 12,000 feet high. The largest mountain in Wyoming (Gannett Peak) is just over 14,000 feet. I know it is not Everest, but you still can get high altitude sickness if you are not careful. We take people on guided hikes when requested. You must remember that this is grizzly bear and wolf country.

The summertime Cody Nite Rodeo. It's tacky and an unapologetic showcase of the stereotypical cowboy -- spitting tobacco juice and scratching his balls. The one redeeming quality might be the chance to see some pretty horses.

I did not run into any tourist traps while I was there. That may have been because I was travelling with my friend who lived in Wyoming but I think it was because I was there late in the year when many of the places that rely on tourists were closed. I'd like to go back some time in Summer instead of early Winter.
