Be careful when travelling for long periods between states, like Arizona to Nevada and back. The roads can all look the same and it becomes monotonous. Makes sure you have another driver with you and take regular turns and stop once in a while. |

Be extremely careful not to get off the beaten path while in the French Quarter in New Orleans at night. Stay where there are people and lighted establishments. This has been the murder capital of the US for years. It is a lovely city, you just have to be cautious. |

Firstly the RV's. In the summer there are loads of these on the road, mostly driven well but some will have a half blind octogenarian at the wheel. Say no more. Second are the logging Trucks they are very big and can be a bit of a surprise. Raccoons can get into anything if they think theres food to be had. Campsites near big cities and towns attract vagrants so it may be worth the extra dollars for a full cost campsite, to avoid waking up with a crackhead trying to smoke your socks! |

If camping in North America,watch out for bears, wolves, skunks, hornets, badgers, possoms, foxes, mad deer, and poisonous plants like poison ivy. nless your in a camping resort, these encounters rarely happen. But if at your own risk, be careful! |

If you are in Columbia South Carolina in the downtown area. Beware of homeless people. They will ask you for money for babys milk. One became violent with one of my friends once but most are harmless. Jst make sure not to give them your money |

If you go to Miami, you need to be sure and know what routes that you need to take and do not get off the beaten path. If you get lost, do not get out and ask questions. Either have a cell phone or find a public place. |
