I happened to catch this on a Sunday morning walk. The guard is crossing Plaza de Mayo on their way to Casa Rosada.

You'll probably see this flower all around town. It's called the Ceibo Flower and it's the national flower of Argentina.

If you've picked up some postcards and need to drop them off to be mailed, this is what the post boxes look like in Argentina. They are red and will say "Correo Argentina" on the front.

    Bife de chorizo

    by b1bob Written Nov 24, 2002

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Bife de chorizo is a typically Argentine dish. Beef is plentiful, and therefore cheap, in Argentina. They serve it with sausage on the side and is eaten with fries.
