I arrived after 12 noon when they opened customers already inside ordering and delivery guys on motorcycles going in and out. I ordered 6 empanadas 3 pollo and 3 Lomo else I tried to order the dulce one but she said they dont have it. I ordered the lomo and pollo empanadas.
The empanadas came in a couple of mins of my order hot. The one at La Cholita which is just next door was better, that Empandas was included with my steak dinner.
7 empanadas 21 peso ,coke6.90=total 27.90

Very delicious local food is served. The prices are reasonable, though the portions could be bigger. Bread and Butter is always served. There will be a waiting line at night, be prepared to wait an hour until you get one of the tables equipped with wax crayons.
Favorite Dish: Try the Locro. I don't really know what the ingredients were, but it's tasty and filling mixed something pot.

it is very rarely that you could taste such argentine folk specialties of food as the ones you could get at cumana.. always a line to get in.. unless you go at 4 pm.. lots and lots of argentines eating it all up.. funny to see some timid types with their lonely planet guide sitting at a corner too.. did lonely planet put this restaurant in its guide?...
Favorite Dish: Today i had a dish of rice with cheese and mushrroms in a casserole. my friend had casserole of calabaza with honey ..i have tasted many dishes in this place and always it satisfies..
even though i dont eat desserts normally, today i shared a flan with dulce de leche.. rather sweet i thought--

I just love the variety of dishes, many of them from the North of the country, I strongly suggest you try a cazuela...
This place is extremely popular, so dont try to go there on a saturday night cos you ll have to wait an hour or 2 to get in.
Favorite Dish: Pastel de calabaza y lomo al barro. (Pumpkin and sirloin pie)

the idea is to go there when the place is not crowded but it is difficult since it is crowded regardless of the time. i choose to go there to have unch around three pm and there are seats available.
Favorite Dish: i begin with a couple of empanadas.. queso y cebolla and a lomo picante and follow it up with a casuela de berenjina o squash with honey..
a glass of red wine or water with bubbles
all this for less than a cup of coffee in miami.
on 13th february my lunch was 8.50 pesos with a 150 tip that is a grand total of 3dollars and thirty cents us.
