Filo Pizzeria/Restaurant, Buenos Aires

very nice and fancy pizza place, I think it's the best pizza in the world... but that is just my opinion... thin, crispy with fresh and funky ingredients, I just love it! AND it has a GREAT ambience and good drinks too. Service? Depends on the night, kind of slow sometimes, but the pizza is worthed the wait!

Filo's a hip trendy (yeah, I know, what the heck was I doing there????) pizza place. We got there just about 8 pm and they offered us a table in the front window or next to the bar so we took the front window area so it was a bit quieter than the rest of the place. In fact, it was so quiet it was almost like having dinner by ourselves!

Favorite Dish: I had the Oro pizza, a white pizza with cheese, tomato and basil. It was very good and I was only able to eat about 1/2 of a small pizza (15 pesos) but that was likely due to the meat coma I was still in after doing two of those all you can eat meat extravaganzas in Brazil.

This place is on San Martin very near to Plaza San Martin and Galeria Pacificas. The outside of the restaurant is misleading as to its size. Once you entre you have a colourful room with great atmosphere and attentive service. The place tends to get packed out for lunch during weekdays and is a lot quiter on Sundays. The pizzas are spectacular. If you go in a group, you can order one of the larger sizes and have 2 toppings. Whilst on the more expensive side compared to other Argentinian places, it is still well worth visiting. The chocolate mousse dessert is a must for any chocolate lover!!!

Favorite Dish: "White" Salmon, Brie and Rocket pizza. It is spectacular. You have the creamy brie on peppery fresh rocket on a crispy pizza base and then the smokeyness of the salmon. GOD I miss this place

Filo is a funky, artsy pizzaria in the microcenter of BA. The pizza is made in the woodoven, of course, and they have many different kinds. The cool thing about Filo, is the artsy vibe that it projects. They have a dj playng music, and sometimes they have live music. There are also art exhibits inside by local artists. It's a great little casual joint to hangout.

Filo is a venecian restaurant but with argentina culture... an excelent place to have a drink and eat but also a good place to see some art or take a look surrounding by people who liked to see and been seen...
