Güerrin: A typical Buenos Aires restaurant

    Guerrin restaurant

If you're looking for a classic place (this is typical ambiance, food, waiters and tables) then this is THE place!
One con: I'm afraid your clothes will be rather smelly when you leave...

Favorite Dish: Hhhmmm... so many to name! The pizza is very good but if you want to go for a local dish then try "milanesa a caballo." This is schnitzel (thin piece of beef covered in breadcrumbs) with fries and a fried egg on top.
As for dessert, flan with dulce de leche would be the most typical one. Also budín de pan, panqueque de dulce de leche, etc, etc, etc.
Visit their webpage and check out the pizzas! (pics and prices)

Pizzeria Guerrin: The best pizza I´ve ever eaten

Classic Argentine pizza restaurant. Standard pizzas sold by the slice at the entrance bar for $1-$1.50 per triangle. Décor hasn't changed in years. It is the oldest pizzeria in BA, owned and operated by the same Italian family for over 100 years.
This pizzeria is so special for me, because I used to go with my grandfather and with my father, and I go to enjoy the best pizza in the world each time I visit Buenos Aires.-

Favorite Dish: Pizza, Pizza and more Pizza. Pizzeria Guerrin offers all kinds of weird toppings involving fruit, seafood, pulses, ricotta and all of them are delicious.-
