Las Caballerizas: Para turistas, pero bueno / For tourists, but good
A los Porteños que se precian , el comer en Puerto Madero les parece ir a un sitio para "gringos" y muy caro.
Por lo que nos toca de "gringos" diré que si es caro , pero el asado y los bifes que tomamos estaban muy buenos
El problema que tuvimos es que en BA hay tres Caballerizas , que dan distintos tipos de comida , y nosotros no sabíamos en cual habíamos quedado
For a good Porteño , Puerto madero is a restaurant for "gringos" and very expensive
For the part that we have of "gringos" I will say that is expensive , but the "asado" and the " "bifes" were very good
The problem we had is that in BA there are three different Caballerizas , with different types of food and we did not know in which one we had the appointment
La Caballeriza: Don't miss the asado!
The location in one of the converted red brick warehouses at Puerto Madero is perfect for people watching, if you score a prime table on the patio. Be prepared to wait for a table on Sunday afternoons, since a lot of local families come for asado. The wait is well worth it though...even if you have to sit inside.
You can order either small or large portions of almost every dish, depending on the number of people sharing, or how hungry you are. Even wine is available in small bottles if you're a party of one.
Though the prices are higher than other parrilla places in the city, it's well worth the "splurge".
Favorite Dish: Hard to pick a favorite since I liked everything I ordered. The bife de lomo was very good.
