Visit a PARRILLA (place where grilled & barbecued meat is served)
My brother-in-law who is from Belgium like my husband, likes to say that since he tried the argentinian meat he's a vegetarian everywhere else in the world...

Favorite Dish: Asado (meat with bones), chorizo (sausage), vacio (tender meat)

Without any doubt - Los Anos Locos (The Crazy Years) in Costanera Norte y Pampa in Buenos Aires is the most amazing Steakhouse in BA. And when you talk steak nothing compares with Argentina!
The restaurant is on the waterfront about a 30 minute drive from the centre of BA and like everything else in that part of the world does not come alive until close to midnight. You MUST visit if you are ever in Buenos Aires but make sure you make a reservation on 784 8681.
Reasonably priced and GREAT atmosphere. Quite a large restaurant but always packed.

Favorite Dish: Steak of course - It's a mixed platter of different cuts of meat but I cannot remember the name of it.

Favorite Dish: Thick Bife Chorizo (steak) - they prepare it very rare unless you ask, which took a bit of getting used to, but with some Chimichurri, nothing beats this Argentinian specialty. 57 million cows and 14 million people!

In Pinamar you have streets plenty of restaurants, for sure you will know the one in the photo because of the girl at the front door. Try kissing her, you will finish eating her.

Favorite Dish: Asado, Parrillada, White wined Mollejas, is rare to find fresh fish in Pinamar, because there aren´t many fishers.

by Giangi Written Aug 24, 2002

Rodizio, it was located at Puerto Maderos, is an expensive restaurant (aprox. US$ 70 per person) but the food quality deserves that.
There was another Rodizio style restaurant at the center the 'Rancho Mayo' you pay $8 per person and eat all what you can. it was a very very good alternative...
The principal attraction of this restaurant is that the waiters brings to the tables the meat in large swords from where they cut large chunks of meat. And don't forget that you can eat as much as you can...

Favorite Dish: Eat as many meat as you can, the Argentine Meat is the best!

the Gaucho gives a very authentic feel to this restaurant. He did however look quite menacing with his big knife and scowl on his face.

This is a great dessert over there. A very rich chocolate caramel fudge in a pancake.
I took the picture before I started eating because it would not have been too pretty once I finished eating it.
