Just steps away from the abbey of San Benito de Palermo (the "Abadia" of the name), there's this small and charming shopping mall. The recycled building dates from the beginning of the last century (it was for years an ice factory, when Palermo wasn't even part of Buenos Aires). The various buildings that made up the factory have been opened towards the inside, while respecting the facade, while the old cobblestone paths in between the buildings now conform the aisles of the shopping mall. While the whole complex is indoors, the "streets" have full glass roofs which give them a very open air feeling
If you happen to be in Palermo or Belgrano it's worth a stop - there's a very nice cafe on the street level with a large open firepit, a sizable food court, and about 40 shops - prices are average for Buenos Aires, not many bargains here. It's also close to Persicco and I've already written in length about how much I love their ice cream...
The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the movie theaters, they are very small and the sound is poor in comparison to other theaters
