 | Buenos Aires Unicenter Shopping Mall Reviews | Tips 1 - 4 of 4 | | This is the biggest mall in South America. It's 25 minutes from downtown by taxi, but it's really worth visiting. This is a three-storey mall with all the most important brands, for men, women and children. On the 3rd floor there's a huge food court and a cinema, Hoyts Cinemas, with 14 screens. On that same floor there's a video arcade with a small rollercoaster for little kids. You can play pool and bowling too there. There's Falabella inside, which is a two-storey department store.
Electrical appliances, clothes, shoes and bags, make-up, toys, furniture, books and CDs are some of the things you can buy here. One of our best supermarkets is here too, on the ground floor. It's called Jumbo. It's the most expensive but the most varied, so it's worth visiting. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

The bigest mall in Buenos Aires is Unicenter, which is actuallu outside the Capital Federal, in the Martinez area, in the North of the Buenos Aires Province. If you are going by taxi NOT in peak hour, it can take you around 25 minutes to get there from downtown (and it will be around 25$ARG) If you are going in rush hour it can take up to 45 minutes to get there. It's a HUGE place and you will find ever single nice store there (including some international brands) This is my favourite mall, since you can find any store here. They offer a FREE shopping tour (they pick you up downtown in 4 different hotels in the morning, you get there at 1 pm and get back at 6pm) They also offer free lunch, tax free and discounts, all you have to do is show your passport. You can check the time schedull ein their website or ask in your hotel. Leave a Comment

Unicenter is a long way from Centro and Recoleta. The taxi from Recoleta was $20 pesos and took about 30 mins. When I first saw the mall, the first thought that came into mind was the Mall of America in Minnesota. Unicenter is by far the largest mall in Argentina. On weekends the place is packed with families, teens and other shoppers, just like any mall in the US. Actually it totally reminded me of a large surburban mall in the US. The mall features 300 shops including a large supermarket , appropriately named Jumbo. It also has Argentina's only department store. There is a large food court and 14 screen cinema on the top floor. And just like the Mall of America, has an indoor theme park and amusement areas. Also like the MOA, there is a large parking garage that is attached to every level of the mall. Unlike the malls within Buenos Aires, tourists are far and few. Getting taxi back into town is pretty easy but you'll need to wait 10 mins. or so. Outside the mall are taxi and remise stands.
Anything and everything.

In my opinion the best mall in the city. Located 30 minutes from downtown Buenos Aires, Unicenter hosts all the most well known brands around the world as well as a 14 theatre complex and probably the biggest food court in the city. Its modern aspect combined with the variety of its shops makes Unicenter the most popular mall in Buenos Aires. If you want to shop at standard prices and have enough days in Bs As make sure you go to Unicenter. It can also be a great excuse to see the northern suburbs.
Anything.
The prices at Unicenter are average, since it is a mall, the prices are the same that in any other store. Leave a Comment
