Soccer (or football as we say) is for Argentinians as important as water for fish.
Please, take the time to go to see any soccer match, speacially River Plate vs. Boca Juniors.
You'll never feel so much adrenaline like when you are in a match like this.
Equipment: Go with friends, it could be a bit dangerous if you go alone. Don't panick anyway if you have to be alone, entire families assist to soccer matches but be prudent anyway.

Address: Boca Juniors or River Plate stadiums
Rio de Janeiro has the stadium where Pele performed miracles, La Maracana. New York (the Bronx) has the House that Ruth built in Yankee Stadium and Buenos Aires has the Estadio Boca Junior where the great Diego Maradona once played on La Boca Juniors. Head over for a game and try to catch one of the local teams and you'll be amazed at the passion of the fans.

I love football (soccer), and despite I prefer River Plate (eternal rival of Boca Juniors), I visited Boca Juniors' famous stadium "La Bombonera" (the bonbon case), but there was not any match that afternoon. This stadium is situated at La Boca (obviously!) and painted by local artists.

As you would expect football is a national passion and the capital is home to the countries biggest teams: Boca Juniors and River Plate.
Any visit to the city would be complete without witnessing a football match-
In the picture you can see the River Plate Stadium: "El Monumental". AGUANTE RIVER!!!
