Where the shoppers and cinema goers go!
Lavalle is a partly pedestrianised street across Florida and one block north of Avenida Corrientes. It mainly has cinemas and cheap stores selling, suspectedly, counterfeit goods. There are some decent restaurants such as the Pizza Roma where I had a nice meal.

A long walk at this pedestrian street will give u much more than shopping.Shops includes souvenirs, music shop, restaurants, fashion n accessories, leather shops are both for tourist and also locals. But some prices are targeted for tourist and the items arent really bargainable (el precio finale!) Would recommend to buy souvenirs or leather products elsewhere than lavalle o florida. Try Ave Scalabrini Ortiz for duty free leather products
This pedestrian street wil intercept with Florida street,so u have vast type of shops, restaurants choices.
There will be some street performers so be entertained!
It's a pedestrian street going all the way from Avenida 9 de Julio down to Puerto Madero. It's full of bars, restaurants, locutorios (phone sand internet) and cinemas... although some of them are converted into evengelical temples. It's always very crowded and there are lots of people trying to either sell you sth or just get some money from you. Make sure you watch your belongings in the crowd.
Lavalle is another pedestrian street in Microcentro (downtown); as well as Corrientes has the main theatres, Lavalle has the main cinemas. It is not so fancy as the other famous pedestrian street, Florida, but its bustling character makes it a "must".
This picture was taken a century ago, so I look sooo young...
