    Recoleta Cemetery

    by lars_m Updated Feb 10, 2004 20 reviews

A fun thing to do is walk around the Recolata Cemetery and see all the gaudy mausoleums. Some of which are like mini condominiums. This is a cemetary you can only get into alive.

In the barrio of La Recoleta is the country's most famous cementary. Within a small 'town' of houselike tombs is the grave of Argentinas most famous woman, Evita Peron.
