Tango shows - I was very surprised, I thought this might just be a tourist ripoff but it isn't. It is one of the most fantastic shows I have ever seen. The meal that came with it was great and the whole audience really enjoyed it.
True BA flavor, BA is home to the tango and you can see couples dance it on many street corners but this show was something else

This is motherland of famous tango. Tango is a sad dance, born here by union of different cultures: Italian, Spanish, German, Arab, Russian, Ukrainian, Cecoslovacca, Jewesh and...... You cannot leave Buenos Aires without see this special show.

    Tango street performers

Buenos Aires is the birth place of Tango. The tour guide tried to sell tickets to an expensive show, but I found out that street performers were dancing to Tango as well along Calle Florida.

    The National Dance.

It incorporates the essence of passion. It is intense, yet gentle. I loved watching this dance.

As we were walking away from the Leather district, we found this statue of Osvaldo Pedro Pugliese, a famous tango musician who passed in 1995, and still getting fresh flowers from his fans.

Everywhere in BA is Tango. You can pay for a tourist show, see a cultural exhibiton at the teatro colon or see street performers.

There are tourist places like Senor Tango and Piazzolla but then there are some milangros around town that you should also go checkout as well. Some will show tango mixed with salsa.
