It is impossible to go to Buenos Aries and not see someone doing the tango. You can go to clubs and take tango lessons. Street performers in San Telmo and also on Florida Street dance for the tourists. Its all part of the culture and the people of Buenos Aires. i bought some tango CD's while I was here. Now whenever I pop them into my cd player I am instantly transported back to San Telmo.
Buenos Aires is famous for the tango. If you don't have time to see a dinner show, you will have ample oppurtunities to see tango dancers doing street performances. While we were there for 3 days, we saw tango dancers in La Boca, Florida Street and near Recoleta.

Argentina is a self-sustaining country which means they do not have to import anything and that keeps costs down.

A: just google tango school buenos aires all schoold gives prived lessons, the are glad to do it :)
