At the Diagonal Pueyrredon, you can find a few rows of rather artistic handicraft stalls. It is not the largest or the best in Argentina, but you just might be able to find some delightful items here.

Come in the evening as things start to get really lively. Sometimes, there are street-side performances as well.

What to buy: Crafts like candle-holders, displays made from soldering iron together, wooden crafts like kitchenware, more tango figurines, glass jewellery, handmade trinkets, etc...

Mar del Plata Favorites

  • Real estate / Property

Was in Mar del Plata in September 07 to purchase an apartment. I like MDP more than BA as its more relaxed and anyway I am more of a beach person. I think the place is going to grow in terms of foreign tourists and the property market is very cheap by comparison. Anyway I am sold on Argentina and I love my mate and tango so I guess I am half way...
