Isenbeck Cafe

I´m not sure if Isenback Cafe is the correct name for this place, but there´s a big Isenbeck beer sign as well as a sign saying Azafran - I´ll call it Isenbeck cafe here to keep things simple. We ate here on two of our three nights in Parana, attracted by the tasty food, friendly service and good value food. I had Bife a la Pimienta (steak in Pepper sauce) on both occasions, a delicious meal, and very good value too. We also tried Isenbeck beer for the first time and much preferred it to Quilmes, the ubiquitous Argentinian beer. The waiter here was very friendly and very patient with us explaining the difference between all the steak sauces.

Newstone Cafe

Newstone Cafe is a nice place for a coffee or a good value lunch. It´s in a great location at the corner of Calle San Martin, the main street, and Plaza 1 Mayo. Service was a bit slow here but the food was good as were the drinks when we called in a second time for a quick coffee break.
