Many parts in this church are builded by wood, like the Altar and the pulpit, well decorated
by local craftsmen and influenced by the "Cuzco" school.

 Mercado del Sur de Jujuy by ptitetoile
I was there in the area and saw a lot of little shops selling "sandals" and summer stuff, a little bit further, there was little market "stands" on the sidewalk selling vegetables and various thing to eat. I don't know if it was really the Mercado del Sur described in my book, but I did like it!!!  Exhibit in Jujuy Museum by barryg23
The highlight of the museum is the clay sculpture of a woman with snakes on her head giving birth to a child. Sounds strange but it´s pretty intriguing.
