This museum is the Historical Museum of Mendoza. It is open Monday-Friday 9:00-13:00 and it’s located in an old house of Italian style that was built in 1873. I found its collection kind of boring but I would found any museum boring after the amazing sceneries I've seen up on the mountains of the Andes!

What you can see here is an arm collection, many things about San Martin (again!), historical documents and books, old furniture from colonial era and generally items from 19th century.

A little museum in the center of Mendoza that contains 14 salas and houses many artifcats from earlier city times. A replica of the sabre of San Martin and a copy of the famous book, "crossing of the Andes" resides here. Also, 3 paintings, by 3 different artists, done one year before the unfortunate earthquake depict what the city looked like and is the only living proof of this. It also shows what Plaza San Francisco used to look like, now just a ruin.
