I miss this place so much! ate here two times during my stay in Bariloche with my wife. we ordered two 500 gram steaks and a bottle of wine in the total price of 50 dollars! great food and very nice owner. the waiters are friendly and helpful and their recommendations where accurate. don't miss the 500 gram's bife the lomo ( fillet steak) , it will leave you speachless. the chimichuri sauce here is amazing and you will finish at least 10 pieces of bread with it. can't wait to go back there. "a must be" place in Bariloche!
Favorite Dish: bife de lomo

This is my favourite chocolate shop and cafe in Bariloche. I love their Abuela Goye special hot chocolates and their hot chocolates with cognac! The quality of chocolate is amazing and enjoyed sampling some of it whilst in town. As well as hot chocolate and chocolate, they also do ice cream and light lunches.
I highly recommend a visit to Abuela Goye whenever you're in Bariloche.
There are other branches in Bariloche, San Martin de los Andes and Buenos Aires.
Favorite Dish: I love the hot chocolates! I would recommend the Abuelo Goya special hot chocolate!

A Vizcacha is a large nocturnal rodent, but don't let the name put you off. This place is packed, you will be lucky to find a table and it is listed in a lot of guidebooks. Why? They are famous for their Bife De Chorizo whick is detailed below. They also have a large menu from grills, salads, to pastas. You can see into the kitchen and watch the large team of chefs preparing your fantastic meal. Waiters seem to glide through the small spaces between the tables. The wine menu is good and very well priced. You can have 2 great dinners, a bottle of wine and desert for less than $30. Wow.
Favorite Dish: Bife De Chorizo of course! What is in it?
* 2 thick sirloin steak (top and bottom)
* Ham
* Cheese
* Covered with an egg
* Also: served with fried potatoes
A very hearty meal!
Have a Cabernet Sauvignon "Casillero del Diablo" from Concha Y Toro to finish off a perfect meal!

A family-owned parrilla (steak house). After you are seated the parrillero (grill man) comes first to take your meat order. Ask him which cut looks good that day and he'll give you his recommendation. While he goes off to the grill to slap your steaks on the heat the server comes and takes the rest of your order. We ate here two times during our stay because we enjoyed it so much. And, I don't know why, but the french fries here were the best we have eaten anywhere.

This was a great meal gourmet dining for sure. The ambience was that of very "chill" with the music to go with it. Each course was better and better served by very professional and beautiful young ladies. I have to say that this was one of the best meals I had in a 3 week trip to Argentina, if you are in this neat little city this is a must.

This place was recommended to us by a local and it turned out to have good pizza, empanadas, etc at a good price. It's a little removed from most of the action on Mitre but just a few blocks down the street.

El primer "bife" en Argentina es como el primer amor y nosotros nos tomamos un bife con patatas fritas inolvidable
Los precios dependen mucho del vino que tomes
El asador es un espectáculo
The first "bife" in Argentina is like your first love and we had a bife with french fries unforgettable
The prices depend a lot in the wine you take
The grill is spectacular

Restaurant Familia Weiss is one of the bigger restaurants in Bariloche. Right in the city center, it is separated from the lake by a small road only. The restaurant serves both traditional dishes from central Europe (Germany / Austria / Switzerland) as well as South American dishes.
Favorite Dish: I can't remebre exactly what I had for main course, but I do remember the starter; which was a huge dish with all kinds of meat and some other things. It was very very good.
