Sunset, 9 de Julio

Favorite thing: Salta is the gateway to some of the most spectacular and diverse landscapes of South America. And at its heart is the Plaza 9 de Julio, where there is so much to see and do, even if you just sit in one spot for a few hours. More on the Plaza and its many delights at my very unofficial website

Fondest memory: Sunsets in the Plaza 9 de Julio, followed by the gathering glow of light that spreads over the buildings at night.

Favorite thing: The street near the station where the "tren de la Nubes" leaves.
it's full of terasses and the nightlife is surprising!
The nightlife starts at 00.00 hrs and lasts untill dawn!

Fondest memory: the thing i will miss the most is the senora of the house where we slept!
She is lika the grandmother you always wanted!

Favorite thing: The north of the country is amazing and you have to take a day trip in the 'Train to the Clouds' (www.trenubes.com.ar) but be sure to take some pills for not being dizzy.
Taste the 'Humita' and the Sweet squash with walnuts.
