North of Santa Cruz and 30 kms to the west of the RN3 (National Route N° 3) you will find the Monumento Nacional Bosque Petrificado. Millions of years ago all the region was a huge rain forest with dinosaurs, volcanos and warm lakes. The wind made the trees fell down and the volcano dust covered them. Today you can see how the same wind blowing for thousands of years has discovered those trees and you will surprise about what you are going to find in that fantastic jurassic park.
