After a dark, cold, rainy morning, when we froze trying to watch the whales, the sun appeared, so some of the students and teachers decided to climb one of the cliff (at Punta Pardelas).

Luego de una mañana oscura, fría y lluviosa, en la que nos congelamos tratando de avistar las ballenas, el sol apareció, por lo que algunos de los alumnos y profesores decidimos escalar uno de los acantilados (Punta Pardelas).

The first stretch of the path has ended: finally... we... arrived... to... a... tableland... where... we... could... take... a... breath...!!!!

El primer tramo del camino ha concluido: finalmente... llegamos... a... una... meseta... en... donde... pudimos... respirar...!!!

The effort had a great reward: de sights we could enjoy from the tableland were breathtaking (literally!) The incredible blue of the water, the little village, the awesome landscape...

El esfuerzo tuvo una gran recompensa: las vistas que pudimos disfrutar desde la meseta nos dejaron sin aliento (¡literalmente!) El azul increíble del agua, el pueblito, el paisaje impresionante...

You can practice this kind of sports by your own, but sometimes is better to be accompanied by an expert guide; we were leaded all the way long by this cute dog, who offered his services for free!

Ustedes pueden practicar este tipo de deportes por las suyas, pero algunas veces es mejor ir acompañado por un guía experto; nosotros fuimos guiados por este precioso perro, que nos ofreció sus servicios en forma gratuita!

I never had the opportunity to dive in my life, so this would be my first time: the didactic trip left us one free morning, and Puerto Pirámides is a special place for diving, so I was very excited. But the rain changed our plans, so we had any free morning... :-( Some of our traveler fellows decided to dive anyway, but that meant they lost the opportunity of visiting Punta Delgada. They told us that it was a great experience (and I have no doubts!) Well... maybe next time.

Nunca tuve la oportunidad de bucear en mi vida, así que esta iba a ser mi primera vez: el viaje de estudios nos dejaba una mañana libre, y Puerto Pirámides es un sitio especial para bucear, por lo que yo estba muy entusiasmada. Pero la lluvia cambió nuestros planes, así que no nos quedó ninguna mañana libre... :-( Algunos de nuestros compañeros de viaje decidieron bucear de todos modos, pero eso significó que se perdieron la oportunidad de visitar Punta Delgada. Nos contaron que fue una gran experiencia (¡y no tengo ninguna duda!) Bueno... quizás la próxima vez.

The first part of the road, we climb a steep slope, fighting against the wind and swallowing sand.

En la primera etapa del camino, trepamos por una cuesta empinada, luchando contra el viento y tragando arena.

As all we suspected, coming down was easier than coming up!!!

Como todos nosotros sospechábamos, la bajada fue más fácil que la subida!!!
