Baños de Copahue Things to Do

Do you like fly over the snow with your feets tightened on a line and perhaps break some bones? Of course, always with fun and style...
Well, here you can find some very similar to a perfect place, just come and try.

This fall named Salto del Rio Agrio (something like "Fall of the Acrid River") isn't too tall, but because the waters falls in a hole the noise is louder than normal.
Beautiful place, but, as I told you, there aren't living creatures in this river, because his high concentration of sulphures and other kinds of mineral salts coming from the volcano.
Anyway, well worth a visit.

At least one time you should drive a snowtrack over deep snow, it's easy and extremely exciting. But you should be careful too, don't do it without a local guide, the mountain is dangerous and not all the tracks are safe, when the bed of snow is too tall (around 5 meters) there are hidden cliffs, fallen trees, etc.
Anyway, you can rent one of this marvels and play like a kid in the park.

There are three different excursions to the crater of the Copahue Volcano, trekking, horse riding or helicopter. The most impressive (and fast) is the helicopter, but the most exciting is the horse riding, and the most tired is trekking.
Nevertheless when you arrive to the top of the volcano and watch inside of the crater the view is absolutely stunning.

In spring and summer seasons (from september to april) you can hire a Horse Riding excursion with a local guide, the exploring activity of the wonderful forest and surroundings is an unforgettable experience. Normally the service includes meals and beverages with one or more stops for rest and eating beside some waterfall or a creek even beside the lake Caviahue. Very very nice.
