Didn't actually get to many restruants in Argentian but Recoletta, Buenos Aires I found some wonderful pizza places. Wine,Beer, Pizza and Corn Flakes seemed to be my main Diet in Argentina so can't really help you here
Mathias' pizzaria, in Mina Clavedas, Córdoba province.This was just a generally friendly place, nice atmosphere, and hosted by friendly people. Well, after overfeeding us all day, Mathais and his family (they're pictured above) finally made me a couple of pizzas. And, like everything else I ate that day, were excellent.
Okay, to be honest, I don't remember the name of the steak house I went to, but it was only a couple blocks away from the Hotel Des Naciones, Downtown, Buenos Aires.Well by that time, the whole expedition was together from all over the world and we were then 70 strong at one restaurant with one bill, we drank $400 worth of coke alone that night... I had a great Argentinian beef steak, it was awesome, it must have been 3 inches thick.

Ok!!! it's a favourite meal...Try DULCE DE LECHE, Have you ever taken a spoon, and swallowed it whole? Eat it by itself, on , waffles, cakes...I suggest trying it with your dessertFLAN CON DULCE DE LECHE or DULCE DE LECHE ICRECREAM Delicious!!!
Eating on the Argentinian Way!!! No matter where, eat Bife de Lomo or Bife de Chorizo (Meat) (obviusly not recommended for vegetarians!!!, sorry!) if you can plan to have an asado...is at the heart of the Argentine beef-eating experience...it's a mouth-watering experience combining fire and beef
As far as grilled food, I have a couple of picks. If you want upscale food, I would recommend Happenings. I have only had good experience with the food at this place. Top flight. Overall nice upscale place Any meat.
If you are looking for a more authentic grill place, I recommend a small grill located right in front of the Boca stadium. I cannot remember what it is called but it is impossible to miss (I think it is call Carlitos). The place is pretty much a hole in the wall, but it has great food. The interesting thing about this place is that there is no menu. They just bring you food and alot of it. The meat is the highlight, but they also bring you everything from grilled meat to pizza. Overall, a very unique eating experience
Another place close to D'Oro's is Rey Castro. It is a cuba place that service International cuisine during the day and cuban food at night. Generally good food and atmosphere. Meant to be a Pro Castro place from what I hear. Good place anyway.
My picks are geared to more of the unique places (less touristy) if that interest you. I do not have the exact addresses, however, you should be able for find them. Here we go: A great Italian place know by locals only is D'ORO CAFE. It has about only 6 items on the menu and serves incredible homemade pasta. It is located near the Statue of Roca where Calle Florida Ends. I believe it is on Peru. Nice atmosphere but great food. Pasta
