The food, the atmosphere, and the view is all outstanding!!!! This restaurant is not right down in the center of Ushuaia--it is just a little bit up the hill from the center, but well worth it. Known mainly by locals and by people who frequent Ushuaia, it is a great place and most likely you will need to make a reservation. Believe me, this is a GREAT place to go if you are going to be in Ushuaia. The service, too, is outstanding.
Favorite Dish: Well, the specialty of Ushuaia is King Crab, so I would recommend that, as it is delicious. However, there are lots of other things to choose from, including delicious Argentine beef as well as lamb. Though Argentina is not really a country for vegetarians, this restaurant will try to prepare a special dish that is vegetarian, if you request.
If you stay in Ushuaia and if you are lucky enough to have a budget that allows you to spend a bit more sometimes you should absolutely eat dinner at the KUAR Restaurant.

Favorite Dish: Lamb dish
Almost accross the street from the previouse restaurant. You can't go wrong in Argentina if you order a steak. For us, steak lover, it was a feast. The vegeterian among us was very setisfied with the pasta, and there was a salad buffet as well,
The setting was a bit nicer and the service a bit more attentive then in the other one.
We went for the ir recomendation of wine. Not expensive, yet very good.
