Everywhere around you there is salt and then suddenly somewhere an island full of cactusses, amazing. Definitely a place you must have seen !!!

visit Tarija...It's different, more real, ('not made for tourists')You can see how the people make wine, dinosaurius fossiles and an authentic 'land life'.

The salar de Uyuni is as important as are other places like Sucre for relaxing and learning Spanish or the train cemetry in Uyuni...as are sooo many other beautiful places!!!


I visited the Santa Cruz zoo jaguar enclosure for a couple of hours and will never forget it. Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

The collection of birds and animals is limited to those from South America. This ensures the animals are living in familiar conditions - no polar bears down here!
