Fun things to do in Bolivia

Carnivals in February: The Oruro's Carnival is the most important in Bolivia and the andean countries.
Great dances and beautiful girl wearing short skirts.

On the way from Desaguadero (at the border) to La Paz, we passed by the Inca ruins of Tiuanaka.

The city of La Paz offers many things to see and do; from shopping (even a small Disney store)to visiting the Valley of the Moon, to walking thru the Cradle of the Americas.

A lake of salt, hundred of km. of it, you have to take a guide for visit this place, its easy to lose, be careful

A beautiful sight? And a not so beautiful foreground. A threadbare existence, no water, no electricity, all they have is the beautiful mountain, maybe that's all they need.

You see so many monuments with this hero or that on a horse. It is difficult to keep track of them all. Maybe someone who sees this can tell me, we cannot remember.

Another steep street full of vendors, somehow they faithfully show up everyday. Darn good looking fruits and vegetables despite the dry and arid conditions around La Paz.

You see so much and so many, one wonders how they can possibly sell all of their wares.
