Solar do Unhão/MAM: Dinner and Folklore Show

"Solar do Unhão" is an old sugar mill formed by beautifully preserved heritage buildings centered around a lovely stone courtyard that dates back to the 18th century. The main building houses the Museu de Arte Moderna (modern art museum), exhibiting works of some of the greatest modern Brazilian artists.
At night a dinner and folklore show happens from Monday through Saturday. Great food and top quality show.
I don't know if it still is like it used to be, but dinner and show happened in the old "senzala", which is the building basemend where slaves used to live during slavery times in Brazil.
I was only 13 then, and it was great to know that side of Brazil I wasn't familiar with.

    Favorite Dish: Good typical food.
