Enjoy the Relaxed Kayak Trip
Kayak trip down the Imbassaí river starts in Diogo, 6,5 km north of Imbassaí. The river flows parallel to the coastline. In some areas it's just a small shallow stream where the kayak moves slowly through the middle of many different species of aquatic plants. In other places the river can be wide and deep and offers an excellent opportunity for swim. On both sides you will enjoy the large variety of the flora and fauna. The river meanders through the dunes for the last part before entering the ocean. The trip takes three to four hours ending in Imbassaí. It doesn't require any previous experience and anybody can do it. Expect to pay 25-30 € per person. It can be organized by agencies or by local guides. The best thing to do is asking in the pousada where are you staying. These people are usually a good source of information.
