Luggage and bags: Mosquito repelent is a must, though 99% places will have mosquito nets over beds. Sun protection a must too. Electrcity plug converters are needed if travelling from the UK.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: comfy foot wear, people use Hawaianas (flip flops) most of the day.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: there are 3 pharmacies in Trancoso, but if you arent renting a car, bring whatever you think ultra necessary, it takes 15/20 min drive to Trancoso.
Photo Equipment: IF, like me, you love photography, bring your best with you...I suffered a lot for lack of good cameras.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: They also rent camping spaces here.
Miscellaneous: a good Portuguese/whatever language you speak...as they dont speak much English there...
