The Sertão Nordestino was sight of very historic brazilian literature of very famous brazilian authors like Graciliano Ramos, Jorge Amado and Ariano Suassuna. The life in the Sertão is hard and tough, when the drought comes, almost no life reimains there and the brave men are forced to survive in such a fierce terrain!
But it also has many açudes, lakes which are filled by rain water and also by some arms of rivers.
And here I am at the Riacho das Moças, a big lake in the midlle of brazilian prairie, the only difference is that you can find some mountains there!
Riacho das Moças is a place where you can swim and get rid of the ghastly heat of Teixeira!
