At night there are plenty of street vendors at Ponta Verde beach sidewalk, where you can taste the really worth "TAPIOCA" filled with cheese and bacon (queijo/presunto), banana (banana) and of course the unique "carne de sol"!

There is a little village called "Massagueira" where you can have very fresh and tasty seafoods! And besides it is a very calm and beautiful place where there are not too much tourists!
It is 15 kms outside of Maceio, but really worth a visit, 'cause it is one of the cheapest and fresh see foods you can get in Brazil!

If you are with a rented car take the south route AL-101 Sul, pass the Iland of Santa Rita, after the second bridge with entries at right and left side.
If you want to take a van there, enter at the corner of TIM building at Av. Duque de Caxias- Centre of Maceio.

it's very good and all seafood are really fresh! it's a very clean and nice restaurant! not too cheap - for brazilians - but it's too good to be true! :-)

A very good restaurant, but with reasonable prices. The atmosphere was very nice (medieval stylish), excellent waiters and excellent food. My best restaurant-experience in Brazil ever.
Well I've only been there once, but we were 6 people and everybody loved their dish, so I guess you can just pick the dish that you fancy the most.
