Praca Savassi is the place to be.
IThe area around this praca is just full of great restaurants and pubs. I sat all day in one of their open air pub/restaurant and met quite a few locals. Ended drinking till the midnight. Needless to say, I had a ball!!
Dress Code: Neat casual.

This little town is in south of Belo Horizonte(300 km), and it´s famous because its exoteric atmosphere. Some people tells, that you can see flying saucers in bright nights.
