There is no reason to get anxious for what to do if you get bitten from a “Piranha” or God knows what! We were so tired during the night that we could not get bothered by the huge flying cockroach! Anyway what could they do more then the hundred ants that one night invaded my hammock (as my wife had the bright idea to shake them out from hers and they ended up all on top of me) and the had bitten me so much that after two days my legs were still swallowed. Fortunately not to serious!
Now, if Gabriel tells you to get into the lake for fishing “Piranhas”, go for it and don’t be afraid, unless you have a cut (or any bleeding spot) on your leg, than I don’t recon for your own good!
About the crocodiles hunt, those who dare always wins! And don’t forget the bath in the lake, it is a must! (So what if it is together with the alligators, let it be!)

Before travel to this region make sure your vaccinations are up to date. I suggest Yellow Fever, Hepatitis, Typhoid and a Tetanus booster. Yellow Fever is most important however as certification for this vaccination was checked at the airport when I flew into both Cuiaba and Campo Grande. Make sure you get your vaccinations documented on an International Certifcate of Vaccination issued by the World Health Organization.

This cute very small monkey looks very friendly, but it bites frequently without previous warnings,it's extremely nervous and suffers from diferent moods..
In other words, you can play with them but never totally trust them!
