Try to plan your visits around Porto Galinhas and rent a car. If you see, prices for 2 hours trips or less are very expensive if you compare with a all day or more days of a rented car, with or without driver (bugeiro).
Unique Suggestions: At least get a tour that takes all the spots that you want to visit and ask to teh hotel reception for a person that may take you there. Before there, down town, you may check the normal prices for that tour ( near the beach teher are several buggys with bugeiros)
Fun Alternatives: See the down town prices and the price that the single driver ( reception contact) offers you.

I think,at least from my own experience, that the most frequent tourist trap in this world is how much locals can abuse with the prices as soon as you open your mouth to talk and they feel you are...a Tourist!
In Brazil, for those who don't know, the language has many accents, depending from where you come from, than, even us,brazilians, are fastly recognized as one that is not from this/that region!
Well,I will try to help you writing down some prices I payed once there, pls attention:Brazil inflation is going up,than, take this information as partial!!
Unique Suggestions: 1.BUS FROM RECIFE TO PORTO:3,5 REAIS
2.TAXI FROM RECIFE TO PORTO(4 GUYS-WE ASKED THE DRIVER BUT TOOK THE BUS):104,00 REAIS
3.BUGGY TRIP(DUNES);50,00 REAIS FOR 4 GUYS.
4." JANGADA "TRIP:(TRIP ON THE TIPICAL BOAT-PRICE PER PERSON):6,00REAIS
I believe things changed since, but not too far from this!!
